Eating Healthy

Healthy diet choices can lower cholesterol levels and greatly contribute to improvement of your overall well-being.

  • Avoid food high in saturated fat, which is rich in bad cholesterol.
  • Instead of fried, food is best when baked, roasted, poached or broiled.
  • Have plenty of fruits and vegetables every day.
  • Whole grain, oatmeal, walnuts, fatty fish and food rich in plant sterols or stanols are highly recommended.
